Media Factory platform includes access to comprehensive reports and metrics so you can gain insights into your campaign and user data. Report types are organized into the following categories:
Pull a report that tallies the number of views received overall, or for any media item. Filter the report metrics using the parameters on the left menu
To access the Views report:
Filter the views report by channel, media type, moderation status and date range. By default, all categories are displayed (no restrictions), but you can update these selections to narrow the results that are returned
Once you're all set, download the .csv file by clicking the arrow located in the upper right-hand corner of the graph view. In addition to view count for specific items, the .csv file includes the following media info: date added, title, description, owner username, owner first name, owner last name, channel the item belongs to, moderation status ("0" for unmoderated, "1" for approved, "2" for denied), upload location, votes, filesize, filetype ("1" for image, "2" for video, "3" for audio, "4" for text only), and unique media ID#
Microsoft Excel or Libre Office can open a .csv file to display a table with the exported data
Upload and Comments reports are found in the Reports sub-nav and are pulled using filters identical to Views Reports. The key difference being the graphs
For each Media Factory project, you can view a report about the members who have registered through your widgets and applications
To access the Members report:
You can filter Members reports by active/inactive users and by a specific date range
Note: “Active” accounts are in good standing. “Inactive” accounts have been disabled due prohibited behaviour (such as spamming)
In Graph View, you can also view the member trends by day, week or month
To filter a Member report:
When users register, you can give them the option to sign up for your company or contest newsletter. That list can be found in the Members Report .csv download under the column titled “opted-in”
Note: Depending on your registration form, there may or may not be an opt-in option. If you've enabled the opt-in option, then the number "1" in that column represents opt-ins, and the number "2" is the value for opt-outs. You can then use the email address column to populate your sender list
For each Media Factory project, you can view a report related to the bandwidth of your website
To access the Bandwidth report:
For each Media Factory project, you can view a report related to the storage usage of your website
To access the Storage report:
You can download two .csv file reports related to voting data: the Hourly Votes and Votes Log. These reports open in Microsoft Excel or Libre Office and provide information like the media id and title, the IP address of the voters, time stamp and so on.
To view the Hourly Votes report:
The report opens in your favourite spreadsheet program
To view the Votes Log report:
